Sun Devil men's golfer senior-to-be Jared du Toit has earned GCAA and Golfweek Honorable Mention All-America honors after a season that saw him post five top-10 finishes. He transferred to ASU from Idaho after his sophomore season. Jon Rahm had earlier been named a first-team All-American.

His best outing helped ASU clinched the Albuquerque Regional on May-16-18, as he tied for fifth with a 4-over 220 (74-72-73-75). He finished the year with a 71.66 scoring average with 11 of 41 rounds in the 60s and 20 of them at par or better. He also posted top-10 finishes at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational, the Amer Air Invitational, Prestige at PGA West and Lamkin Grips.

The Calgary-born du Toit followed up a great junior season with a win at the Glencoe Invitational champion, earning medalist honors on June 18 Glencoe's Forest Course. The 21-year-old du Toit carded a three-round tally of 2-over 218, two shots better than Calgary's Emmett Oh (Bearspaw). It was a tough tournament, as 61 golfers combined for three times as many bogeys (992) as birdies (326).

Raised in Kimberley, B.C., du Toit is a first-year selectee to Golf Canada's national amateur squad and currently the top Canuck in the world amateur golf rankings.

Jon Rahm made quite a good impression in his pro event.

The two-time Ben Hogan Award winner put $400,200 in his pocket with a tie for third at the Quicken Loans National held at Congressional Country Club (par 71/7,569 yards) (Blue) in Bethesda, MD, as he shot 64-67-70-70 for a 13-under 271.

Rahm earned one of four spots at next month's Open Championship, punching his ticket to Royal Troon in July along with Vijay Singh, Harold Varner III and tournament champion Billy Hurley III.

Jon didn't win, but one Sun Devil did bring home a victory this weekend in a pro event.

Classmate Max Rotluff shot a 23-under 265 (67-65-67-66) at the SIGA Dakota Dunes Open in Saskatoon, SK, CAN, which is part of the Mackenzie Tour on the PGA Tour of Canada.
