• STANFORD and COLORADO both opened the season at 2-0. Overall the Conference posted a 10-5-3 record for the first weekend of play. Seven games will be broadcast this week on the Pac-12 Network. The last game of the weekend on the Networks features a top-25 matchup between No. 6 Florida and No. 15 UCLA in Los Angeles. That game is set for a 3 p.m. PT kickoff on Aug. 28.

• The Pac­-12 has four teams ranked in the NSCAA poll. STANFORD sits in the No. 3 spot while UCLA makes it's first appearance on the NSCAA ranking for the season as No. 15. CALIFORNIA also appears as 21st overall. USC, ARIZONA STATE and ARIZONA also received votes.

• UCLA’s Darian Jenkins is the Conference's first Offensive Player of the Week of the season, while Stanford’s Alana Cook took home the first Defensive Player of the Week award. UCLA’s Teagan Micah was tabbed Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week.

• The reigning Pac-12 Player of the Year, Arielle Ship, returns for the Golden Bears this season, as well as USC's Kayla Mills, the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and Stanford's Jane Campbell, the Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Year. Six members of the All-Pac-12 first team and eight members of the All-Pac-12 second team are returning for the coming season.

• Beijing Normal University scheduled four friendly exhibition matches against Pac-12 opponents. This tour is part of the Conference's overall Globalization Initiative, which provides transformative educational and cultural experiences for the student-athletes as they compete against Chinese counterparts. USC competed against Beijing Normal University on Sunday and came out with a 5-1 victory. UCLA also played the Chinese team on Monday, defeating them 7-0. ARIZONA STATE is set to match up against Beijing Normal this Saturday at 11 a.m. PT.

• TopDrawerSoccer.com's national rankings features four Pac-12 teams after the first week of regular season play. Stanford sits comfortably at No.1, USC at No. 11, California at No.19 and Arizona at No. 25.

• National recognition has already started to pour in as Darian Jenkins of UCLA was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Women’s DI Team of the Week on Aug. 22.

• Twenty-­eight players from NCAA Division I schools around the country have been marked as potential contenders for the 2016 Missouri Athletic Club’s (MAC) Hermann Trophy. The MAC Hermann Trophy is the most prestigious individual award in college soccer, presented annually to one male and one female athlete. The Pac-­12 has five representatives on the list: Stanford’s senior Jane Campbell and junior Andi Sullivan, USC’s seniors Kayla Mills and Morgan Andres, along with California’s senior Arielle Ship.

• The countdown of Pac­12 Networks’ 850 live event telecasts begin on the pitch with a 68­-game women’s soccer schedule. Each Pac­-12 team appears on the Network at least six times (home or away) in 2016.
