Arizona State

This Arizona State release details all the National Player of the Week Awards won by Kalen Ballage after his record-setting, eight-touchdown performance in the Sun Devils’ 68-55 win over Texas Tech Saturday night. There are too many records that he broke to detail here, so just click on the link. What a game.

Stanford

Former Stanford wide receiver Doug Baldwin caught the game-winning touchdown pass in the Seattle Seahawks’ 12-10 triumph at home over the Miami Dolphins.

California

I won’t rub in the loss to San Diego State, Cal fan, so how about you watch this ridiculous Aaron Rodgers touchdown pass, a 29-yard strike to Davante Adams as he was being pulled down by the Jaguars’ Jalen Ramsey and Adams was covered by a Jags defensive back. On the other hand, Keenan Allen likely tore his ACL in the San Diego Chargers’ loss to Kansas City.

USC

Great moment from USC’s thrashing of Utah State – Adoree’ Jackson’s mom was overcome with emotion watching her son play for USC on Saturday, joining her son’s postgame interview with our Kate Scott. She couldn’t make it to USC games last year because of a breast cancer diagnosis but was able to come out to the Trojans’ 2016 home opener.

Washington State

Following a 31-28 loss at Boise State that dropped the Cougars to 0-2, Washington State coach Mike Leach questioned his team’s toughness.

Colorado

The Buffs have looked good through two games, and now Colorado football is excited for its trip to Michigan. The Wolverines are the No. 4 team in the country after demolishing two inferior opponents in Hawai’i and Central Florida.

Oregon

That 44-26 win over Virginia was fun and all, but Ted Miller is already looking ahead to the Oregon-Nebraska matchup next Saturday, a huge final non-league contest for both sides that could start to define the seasons of both the Ducks and Cornhuskers.

UCLA

Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times dives into UCLA football’s issues on defense after its first two games of the season. The Bruins gave up 5.0 yards per carry to UNLV in a 42-21 win to get to 1-1 on the season.

Utah

The Utes were able to pull it out against BYU in the Deseret Duel, but Kyle Goon points out that there are plenty of questions surrounding the Utah offense. The Utes somehow beat BYU despite turning it over six times.

Washington

Adam Jude writes that Washington did what a No. 8 team should do in its 59-14 beatdown of Idaho. Jake Browning picked dem Vandals apart, tying a school record by throwing five touchdown passes.

Arizona

Michael Lev grades Arizona’s 31-21 win over Grambling State. Not a pretty one, to say the least.

Oregon State

Gina Mizell takes a look at the Oregon State women’s basketball non-conference schedule. Tournaments in Maui and Las Vegas highlight the November-December slate.
