With practices in full swing for the 2016-17 men's basketball campaign, the Pac-12 Conference has published its preseason prospectus previewing the fast-approaching season.

Among the key preseason storylines from around the Conference of Champions:
- Annual preseason publication Lindy's Sports has appointed OREGON its No. 1 team in the nation entering 2016-17. It also recognizes No. 10 ARIZONA, No. 13 UCLA and No. 19 COLORADO among its preseason top 25, and the Pac-12 the No. 2 overall conference.
- Athlon Sports' lists a national-best three Pac-12 players among its five-player preseason All-America First Team: OREGON junior Dillon Brooks, WASHINGTON freshman Markelle Fultz and CALIFORNIA sophomore Ivan Rabb.
- After ranking No. 2 in Conference RPI during non-conference play in 2015-16, the Pac-12 will again challenge itself in the non-league slate this season with 60 scheduled games against 2016 postseason teams, the majority of which will come at road or neutral sites.
- Pac-12 rosters will be supplemented by 90 returning players, including 34 starters, and feature more than 70 newcomers, including 45 freshmen - 18 of whom were rated in Scout.com's
Class of 2016 Top 100 recruits.
- The 2017 NCAA Final Four comes west for the first time in 22 years when Conference-member ARIZONA STATE serves as host at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., on April 1 and 3.

The Pac-12 celebrated its Centennial last year with one of its best men's basketball seasons on record, culminating with a league-record seven teams earning bids to the 2016 NCAA Tournament and Conference champion OREGON reaching the West Region finals, leaving the Pac-12 as the only conference with an Elite Eight entrant each of the past three seasons.

What does the Pac-12 have in store for an encore? The league's coaches and players will answer that question and more at Pac-12 Media Day on Friday, Oct. 21. In the meantime, get prepared for 2016-17 with the preseason prospectus.
