Washington

Saturday just had to feel so, so good for U-Dub fans all over the world, as the Dawgs finally exorcised their Duck demons with that 70-21 win over Oregon. Following the win, Adam Jude is comparing this year’s 6-0 start with Washington’s 1991 team that won the national title. How about this? Washington’s point differential through six games in 2016 is identical to what it was through six in 1991 (212).

Arizona State

Great win over UCLA Saturday night, but Arizona State could be down to its fourth-string quarterback against Colorado next Saturday. The Sun Devils’ top 3 QBs in fall camp are all injured, and freshman Dillon Sterling-Cole had to play the final minutes of the UCLA game.

USC

Following a 21-17 win over Colorado, USC has played its way back into the Pac-12 South race, writes Kyle Bonagura. The Trojans are a half game back of Arizona State, Colorado and Utah in the Pac-12 South, teams against which they have gone 2-1.

Washington State

David Lombardi discusses Washington State’s resurgence after its 0-2 start, most recently demolishing Stanford 42-16. The Apple Cup might have a lot more riding on the line than just bragging rights, as both the Dawgs and Cougs are undefeated in Pac-12 play.

Oregon State

Hot take from Ken Goe of The Oregonian/OregonLive, as he says that Oregon State might be the best football team in the state of Oregon. Kudos to the Beavs for their 47-44 overtime win against Cal.

UCLA

UCLA men’s water polo won an NCAA record 52nd straight game by beating UC Davis on Sunday afternoon, moving to 19-0 on the 2016 season in the process. It was also head coach Adam Wright’s 200th career victory at UCLA.

Utah

Mitch Wishnowsky was named the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week for the second time this season following the Utes’ 36-23 win over Arizona Saturday night. Wishnowsky averaged 50 yards per punt over six punts, placing five inside the Arizona 20-yard line (none of his punts were returned).

Arizona

Veteran Arizona reporter Anthony Gimino writes about the defensive issues that plagued Rich Rodriguez and Arizona football, specifically in the second half. During the Wildcats’ four game losing skid, opponents are averaging 4.3 points per possession, a huge number (basically, two field goals and a touchdown every three drives).

California

Cal women’s volleyball upset No. 19 Colorado 3-1 Sunday for its first Pac-12 victory of 2016, and here’s the Pac-12 Networks recap to tell you all about it.

Colorado

Colorado women’s soccer is off to a 5-0 start in conference play for the first time in program history following a 3-0 win over Oregon State, a match that Alissa Noe of BuffZone.com recaps in this link.

Oregon

Read John Canzano’s thoughts after Oregon’s blowout loss to Washington. There are a ton of questions surrounding the Ducks, who are now on a four-game losing skid.

Stanford

Jon Wilner gives us his five takeaways from Stanford’s 42-16 loss to Washington State. The Cardinal got outscored 86-22 by the state of Washington in back-to-back weeks.
