THIS WEEK: Gabby Smith, Jr., USC
• Currently riding a six-match winning streak, including defeating nationally ranked No. 18 Lauren Marker of Arizona in the second round of the National Collegiate Tennis Classic on Jan. 14 in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
• Smith is also ranked No. 18 nationally in doubles with her partner Zoë Katz.
• As a team the Women of Troy are off to a 1-0 start to the season after a 5-2 victory over UC Santa Barbara.
