The tournament will take place at KeyArena in Seattle this Thursday through Sunday, March 2 - 5. Tickets are still available at pac-12.com/tickets or the East Box Office at KeyArena.
The exciting halftime lineup includes the BRATZ and Rated Next Generation (RNG) dance crews, the jump rope performance group ‘Electrick Jumpers’, the Eastside Dream Elite cheerleading squad, the acrobats of the Russian Bar Trio, and the Seattle FlyDogs. Halftimes of the 11:30 a.m. games on Thursday and Friday will feature interactive dance parties on the court.
Several talented singers will make appearances during the tournament, including Aleigha Reann and Molly Krulewitch. Electric guitar phenom Caspian Coberly will perform the national anthem at the beginning of the fourth session of the tournament on Friday, Mar. 3.
Additionally, Sheila Kelly from the Mosaic Arts Choir & Orchestra will perform the national anthem to tip-off the third session of the tournament on Friday, Mar. 3. Elementary school choirs from both Shorewood Elementary and Evergreen Heights Elementary will be performing national anthems on Mar. 2 and Mar. 5, respectively. The Pac-12 is proud to partner with these and several other local Seattle groups to provide the best possible experience for Pac-12 women’s basketball fans.
Also in attendance throughout the week will be mascots, cheerleaders, and bands from across the Pac-12 Conference.
The Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament will be played this week at KeyArena in Seattle for the fifth year in a row. Through 11 games over four days, fans will get to see four top-15 teams-- No. 6 Oregon State, No. 10 Stanford, No. 11 Washington, and No. 15 UCLA-- in action with an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on the line.
The 2017 Pac-12 Tournament will feature the culmination of the nation’s most exciting women’s basketball storylines, highlighted by career milestones and record-breaking performances. Washington senior Kelsey Plum ended the regular season by becoming the all-time leading scorer in NCAA history and Stanford head coach Tara VanDerveer recently celebrated her 1,000th career win – a feat only accomplished by two other NCAA Division I coaches. Additionally, several of the conference’s standout seniors will be playing in their final Pac-12 Tournament, including Plum, her teammate Chantel Osahor, and Oregon State star Sydney Wiese.
