KAPALUA, MAUI, HAWAI'I - Sophomore Lilia Vu was bogey-free in Tuesday's second round of the Anuenue Spring Break Classic, shooting a 6-under 66 at the Kapalua Bay Course. Vu is up by nine shots for the individual lead.

As a team, the Bruins shot a 7-under 281 and are eight shots ahead of second-place Arizona State. UCLA, which was 10 shots better than Monday, has a 36-hole total of 572 (-4).

Starting on the first hole, Vu immediately added to her lead, making birdie on the first and second, as well as #4 and #6. She gained strokes on #10 and #15 to tie for a career-low round and put her at 11-under 133. Vu is within striking distance of the school record for a 54-hole total (Sydnee Michaels, -13).

Junior Erin Choi and freshman Mariel Galdiano are tied for ninth at 2-over (146) after each shot a 1-under 71 on Tuesday. Each Bruin made four birdies, a bogey and a double. Starting on the fourth, Choi birdied her first three holes, as well as her last, the third, while Galdiano, opening on the second, gained strokes on #7, #12, #18 and #1.

Sophomore Bethany Wu is tied for 16th at 3-over (147). She shot a 1-over 73 in round two, making three birdies on #6, #7 and #9 to go with four bogeys. Freshman Clare Legaspi is tied for 21st at 6-over (150). She had a 3-over 75 for the second straight round, making three birdies on #6, #7 and #15 and six bogeys.

Junior Joo Seo is the top individual for the Bruins, tying for 32nd at 9-over (153). She was 3-over (75) on Tuesday, with a birdie on her opening hole (#15) and #18 to go with five bogeys. Senior Hadas Libman and junior Lydia Choi are both tied for 41st (+11, 155). Libman shot a 7-over 79, making a birdie on #18, four bogeys and two doubles, while Choi also gained a stroke on #18, adding five bogeys for a 4-over 76.

The Bruins conclude their stay in Maui on Wednesday with another shotgun start. UCLA's scoring fivesome will begin on holes #1-#4, while the Bruin individuals will start on holes #12 (Seo) and #15 (Choi and Libman). Live scoring will be available here.
