Oregon

The season is over for Oregon men’s basketball after a gut-wrenching defeat at the hands of North Carolina in the Final Four, and Tyson Alger of The Oregonian/OregonLive gives us 10 thoughts on the Ducks’ loss to the Tar Heels. Tough to watch Jordan Bell talk to the press after the game.

Stanford

Elliott Almond of the Bay Area News Group has the recap from Stanford women’s basketball’s 62-53 loss to South Carolina in the Final Four Friday in Dallas. It was looking promising for the Card after the first 20 minutes, but the Pac-12 hoops season is officially over.

Washington

Percy Allen reports that former Washington women’s basketball head coach Mike Neighbors was named Arkansas women’s basketball head coach. It was a bit of an expected move, as Neighbors is an Arkansas native.

Arizona State

Arizona State women’s basketball associate head coach Amanda Levens was named head coach at Nevada, Jeff Metcalfe reports.

California

Cal men's rowing kicked off its spring season with a sweep at the San Diego Crew Classic this weekend. The defending IRA national champions took first in all five races they entered at Mission Bay.

Oregon State

Sweet – former Oregon State guard Gary Payton II signed a multi-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks. Payton II has spent most of his first professional season in the D-League with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Utah

Utah gymnastics won its NCAA Regional and is heading to the NCAA Championships for the – get this –  42nd consecutive year. Joining the Utes at the NCAA Championships from the Pac-12 are UCLA, Oregon State and Washington.

UCLA

Russell Westbrook recorded his 40th triple-double of the season Sunday in Oklahoma City’s loss to Charlotte (40 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists), putting him one away from tying the NBA record (Associated Press). It was his sixth straight game with a triple-double.

Arizona

Check out the Pac-12 Networks recap of Arizona softball’s 6-1 win over Cal. The fourth-ranked Wildcats have now won 22 straight games.

USC

Also on our airwaves Sunday, USC lacrosse dominated Cal 21-4 thanks to six goals from Michaela Michael.

Washington State
