Get To Know: Frankie Shebby

BOULDER – The next Buff in our 'Get To Know' series is Frankie Shebby, an outside hitter from La Mirada, Calif. She will be a junior in the fall.
1. What is your favorite volleyball memory and why?
My favorite volleyball memory is traveling overseas for club because I like to travel.
2. Who is someone you look up to the most and why?
My mom is someone I look up to because she's an insanely hard worker.
3. Name a place you've always wanted to go to but never have been.
One place I've always wanted to go but have never been to is Africa.
4. Why did you choose to become a Colorado Buffalo?
I chose to become a Buff because I liked the campus and volleyball program.
5. What is your favorite TV show?
My favorite TV show is Family Guy.
6. Where do you see yourself in five years from now?
In five years I see myself being a little older and employed.
7. If you had to be stranded on a deserted island with one person who would you want that one person to be?
If I had to be stranded on a deserted island with one person it would be Genie from Aladdin.
8. Do you have any hidden talents?
My hidden talent is juggling.
9. Did you play in any other sports growing up or in high school?
Before high school I played basketball, softball, and soccer.
10. How many pairs of shoes do you currently own?
I really don't know how many I own, but probably around 30.
11. Who is your best friend and how did you meet?
My best friend is Allison Rogers. We met when we played together at Oregon. We didn't really talk at all for the first couple months, but eventually she realized how funny I was and obviously wanted to become my best friend.
12. What is your favorite part about being at the University of Colorado?
My favorite part about being at the University of Colorado is the beautiful view.
13. Name one celebrity you would like to meet and why?
I'd like to meet Lady Gaga because I think she's awesome
