Redshirt sophomore Ryan Gronlund had the best round for UO on Saturday with a 68, and has a total of 146 to combine with his first round of 78 (T75). Quotes: Head coach Casey Martin -

Overall thoughts...
"It's been a grind. Both physical - this golf course is big, and rest-wise - we ended late and had to be here early today. The course totally changed in conditions, so everything has been difficult. I felt like the guys really battled. We were not very good, but we battled. Ryan (Gronlund) had a great round, which really helped a ton. We're still doing a lot of stuff that will not lead to a championship if we keep doing it, so we need to make the corrections quickly. But, we're in a position where if we play really well, we can still get in there."

Redshirt sophomore Ryan Gronlund

Overall thoughts...
"The conditions were better today, which was nice, but we're also used to playing in the rain. Casey kept telling us to be prepared to play 25-26 holes for all of us and to stay mentally tough. We kind of squandered the first two days, but today was definitely better."

On the team's mindset going into Sunday's round...
"We're obviously not in the position we want to be, we want to be in the top-8, but we're just trying to incrementally get ourselves right back up there. Last year, I remember we were low the first couple days as well, so it's not all about getting everything back all at once, but slowly and surely."

On mindset during play...
"The NCAA's are different than other tournaments we've played - we all would like to win the individual champion title, but we're more concerned with winning the team title. There are scoreboards around, so you catch a glimpse of those every once in a while, and whenever we make birdies, we give each other thumbs up to get each other motivated."

Redshirt senior Sulman Raza

Overall thoughts...
"I definitely gave a few shots away today. The putter was not really going my way, and then kind of got out of sequence with my swing for about two or three holes, which cost me four strokes. Those are things I know I need to clean up for tomorrow."

On going through rounds of both good and bad weather...
"I think it will help us for sure. We're used to rainy weather in Oregon, but on days like today when it's sunny and the conditions are really nice, you just have to take advantage of it. Hopefully tomorrow we can all shoot some good scores and get ourselves back into this."

On the team's mindset going into Sunday's round...
"Our mentality is going to have to be to not get ahead of ourselves and to not put too much pressure on ourselves either, because when you start trying to force shots, sometimes things don't go so great. I think we're going to all just try to go out and play our own game, take it one shot at a time, try to make birdies but settle with pars, and try to plug away as best as we can."

Looking Ahead: Oregon will be paired with UCF and Iowa State beginning at the 10th hole from 6:35-7:19 a.m. PT (8:35-9:19 a.m. CT).
