Justin Suh fired a 4-under 67, his second round under 70 in four tries, to lead the USC Men's Golf team in the opening round of the Trinity Forest Invitational at the Trinity Forest G.C. in Dallas on Sunday (Sept. 24).

The Trojans finished the first 18 holes at 2-under 282, seven back of first-place Florida while Texas is second (276) and Auburn is third (278).

Suh, starting on 10, turned in a 3-under first 9 with four birdies and a bogey and came home at 1-under, finishing his round with a birdie on 9 to tie for second, two back of the lead.

Kaito Onishi is tied for 23
rd after his even 71 in which he closed with a 2-under back 9 thanks to three birdies.

Cheng Jin,
Ryan Slater and
Kyle Suppa are tied for 33
rd at 1-over 72. Jin and Suppa had four birdies today, Slater three.

Owen Calvin-Smith made his USC debut, playing individually, and is tied for 58
th at 4-over 75.
