Freshman Chardonnay Curran of the Oregon women's soccer team has been called up to join the U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team for a training camp, Nov. 16-23, in Florida.

The Ewa Beach, Hawaii native, will be one of three Pac-12 athletes, the other two being Luca Deza and Abigail Kim both from California, to join the 26-person roster in Sunrise, Fla.

One of UO's top-midfielders, Curran finished her first season as a Duck making appearances in all 19 matches, earning 14 starts. She tallied two assists, including one on Marissa Everett's game-winner against Idaho.

Curran netted one goal on the year, scoring her first career goal against No. 7 USC to put the Ducks in front 1-0 in the 13th minute.

The week-long training camp will be a big factor for U-20 WNT head coach Jitka Klimkova in finalizing her roster for the upcoming Women's Nike International Friendlies when the U.S. hosts Brazil, England and Finland.

This will be Curran's first call-up to the national team. If she is named to the final roster, she will join the U-20 team in the Nike International Friendlies from Dec. 7-11 with the potential to play in the upcoming 2018 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship held in Trinidad & Tobago Jan. 18-28.
