Pac-12 Networks to televise NCAA women’s soccer quarterfinals this Friday, November 24

SAN FRANCISCO – Pac-12 Networks announced today that it will televise a quarterfinals match of the NCAA women’s soccer tournament, this Friday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. MT. The matchup between Stanford (21-1-0) and Penn State (15-4-4) will air live on Pac-12 Network and Pac-12 Bay Area and will also be available to authenticated subscribers via the Pac-12 Now app and Pac-12.com.  Full programming information and talent assignments for the game are as follows:

Seven Pac-12 teams entered the postseason with six advancing to the second record and three making the round of 16, including Washington State for the first time in program history. Top-seeded Stanford advanced to the quarterfinals with a 1-0 win over Florida State. After hosting the first three rounds of the playoffs, the Cardinal improved to 13-0-0 at home while outscoring opponents 57-1 at Cagan Stadium. It is the ninth time in program history the Cardinal has hosted through the first four rounds of the tournament. Stanford is 2-1-0 all-time against Penn State and is looking to advance to the program’s eighth College Cup.
 
The Pac-12 currently holds an all-time record of 184-121-27 (.595) in the NCAA Tournament, with four national championships and five second-place finishes. It had the third-most conference representatives in the 64-team field with seven teams and posted back-to-back years with three teams seeded in the top four.
