• Amar Dhesi went 2-0 on the weekend to finish out the regular season with a 9-0 dual season record.
• On Saturday, Dhesi beat No. 5 Nathan Butler of Stanford by decision, 8-5. 
• On Sunday, he put 27 points on the board with a 27-12 technical fall over CSU Bakerfield’s Mark Penyacsek. 
• Dhesi is currently ranked No. 8 Hwt by InterMat
 
Other’s nominated: Zahid Valencia, Arizona State (Earned seventh pin of the season in regular season finale at Cal Poly to finish the regular season undefeated (25-0) and is 63-1 for his career. No. 1 seed at 174); Isaiah Locsin, Stanford (Scored a takedown with less than 20 seconds remaining to defeat Jack Hathaway, 2-1, and clinch Stanford's 21-15 victory over Oregon State. It marked just the second dual win in program history for the Cardinal over the Beavers).
