OREGON STATE’S TREVOR LARNACH NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK
OREGON STATE’S LUKE HEIMLICH TABBED PITCHER OF THE WEEK
SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 Conference office announced today that OREGON STATE’S Trevor Larnach was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week and teammate Luke Heimlich was tabbed Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week.
Pac-12 Baseball Player of the Week: Trevor Larnach, Jr., OF, Oregon State (Pleasant Hill, Calif.)
• Larnach recorded four hits, five RBIs, and a .500 batting average to help Oregon State sweep a rain-shortened two-game series at then-No. 25 Missouri State (17-6, 10-2).
• Over the two games, Larnach recorded a .636 on-base percentage, 1.250 slugging percentage, six runs and three walks.
• The junior led OSU in the series opener going 3-for-4 with two home runs that drove in two RBIs a piece.
• Earns his second Pac-12 Player of the Week honor this season (Feb. 20) and Oregon State’s 133rd all-time weekly nod.
Pac-12 Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Luke Heimlich, Sr., LHP, Oregon State (Puyallup, Wash.)
• Tallies his sixth career weekly honor as he earned the win in Oregon State’s 17-6 victory over Missouri State on Friday.
• Struck out 10 batters in six innings en route to his nation-leading eighth win of the season.
• Ranks second in program history with 293 career strikeouts and is only seven shy of breaking the Oregon State record (Jonah Nickerson, 2004-06).
• Collects second Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week award this year (March 26) and the Beavers’ 88th all-time pitching nod.
