Roundup: Cal improving facilities for softball and beach volleyball

Cal announced a $30 million plan to improve its facilities for softball and beach volleyball. Alison White of The Daily Californian has the details.

Oregon State

Former Oregon State cornerback Xavier Crawford is transferring to Central Michigan and reuniting with former OSU interim head coach Cory Hall, who is now an assistant there. Nick Daschel of The Oregonian/OregonLive has the story.

UCLA

Nice – UCLA men’s basketball will play Michigan State in Las Vegas on Nov. 22 at Orleans Arena as part of a Thanksgiving night doubleheader in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational. Texas-North Carolina will precede the Bruins-Spartans clash.

Washington State

Washington State women’s basketball guard Chanelle Molina will play for Team USA at the FISU America Games (Sao Paolo, Brazil, July 20-29). Other Pac-12ers on the roster include Kat Tudor of Oregon State and Kiara Russell of Arizona State.

USC

USC quarterback JT Daniels was named Gatorade Male Athlete of the Year, becoming the first to win the award after his junior season in high school.
