Pac-12 releases Conference schedule for upcoming women’s lacrosse season

SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 Conference has announced weekly matchups and site designations for the league’s women’s lacrosse schedule in 2021.

The schedule features seven weeks of Conference contests from March 12-April 23 ahead of the 2021 Pac-12 Tournament slated for May 5-8 at STANFORD’s Maloney Field at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.

The six Pac-12 programs will play a double round-robin format for 10 league contests, and will be permitted non-conference competitions beginning Feb. 12 and up to the traditional NCAA maximum of 17 total regular-season contests.

The announcement reflects the contests being played and the home/away designations each week of the Pac-12 regular season; start times will be announced by schools, and all game dates and times are subject to change. Television details will be announced in the coming weeks.

The 2021 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) preseason poll features three Pac-12 programs with USC ranked No. 13, Stanford at No. 23 and Colorado at No. 24. In the final IWLCA poll of the 2020 season, the Trojans were No. 7 and one of just eight remaining undefeated teams in the country.

All women’s lacrosse competitions will be conducted in accordance with the Pac-12 COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee health and safety recommendations and guidelines, available at Pac-12.com/health.
