Stanford clinches 2020-21 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball regular-season title

SAN FRANCISCO - No. 4 nationally ranked Stanford has clinched the 2020-21 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball regular-season title and claimed the top seed for the 2021 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament presented by New York Life which tips off on Wednesday, March 3 at Michelob ULTRA Arena (Mandalay Bay Events Center) in Las Vegas.
 
The Cardinal improved to 18-2 in Conference play with Monday’s 62-48 victory over No. 9-ranked Arizona to lay claim to the program’s 24th regular-season crown, its first since 2013-14.
 
Stanford, which is now 21-2 on the season with an NCAA Division I-leading 13 road victories, will conclude the regular season by hosting rival California on Sunday before making its Pac-12 Tournament debut on Thursday, March 4 at 2 p.m. PT. The Cardinal have earned a top-four seed in every Pac-12 Tournament since its start in 2002.
 
The 2021 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament presented by New York Life begins on Wednesday, March 3 at 11 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network, and the Championship is slated to tip off on Sunday, March 7 at 5 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. MT on ESPN2. An updated bracket can be found here.
