SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 Conference announced today that the 2021 Pac-12 Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships will be held at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego from April 23 – April 26. The selection of the Barnes Tennis Center follows the decision by the Ojai Valley Tennis Club that it would be unable to host the event due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The Barnes Tennis Center is a premier tennis venue which has hosted major tennis competitions including the USTA Girls 16 and 18 National Championships and the 2021 Easter Bowl, among others. The venue features 25-lighted courts, along with a 3,000 square foot activity center, sports science room, and the Booth Education Center, which includes classrooms and an education center.

The Barnes Tennis Center is operated by Youth Tennis San Diego, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the educational, physical and social development of all youth through organized tennis and educational activities.

The 2022 Pac-12 Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships is slated to return to the Ojai Valley Tennis Club assuming health and safety conditions allow.
