Eight Pac-12 Men's Golf teams headed to 2021 NCAA Regionals

Full 2021 NCAA Men's Golf Regional selections

SAN FRANCISCO - Eight Pac-12 Men's Golf programs will compete in 2021 NCAA Golf Regional competition from May 17-19 seeking advancement to the national championship hosted by ARIZONA STATE.

Half of the Pac-12 participants will stay in the league footprint as four teams will compete in the Cle Elum Regional hosted by WASHINGTON at Tumble Creek Golf & Country Club - Pac-12 champion and No. 4 seed ARIZONA, host and No. 7 seed WASHINGTON, No. 9 seed UTAH and No. 10 seed OREGON. Notably for the Utes, it marks their first NCAA Regional appearance since 1992.

Three more Pac-12 teams will stay west as No. 2 seed ARIZONA STATE, No. 6 seed STANFORD and No. 7 seed OREGON STATE will participate in the Albuquerque Regional at UNM's Championship Course.

Tallahassee Regional No. 10 seed USC rounds out the Pac-12 programs selected to the NCAA field.

In addition to the eight teams, UCLA's Devon Bling and COLORADO's Daniel O'Loughlin were among 45 individual berths.

Six 54-hole regional tournaments will be conducted May 17-19. Thirteen teams and 10 individuals not on those teams will compete at each of three regionals while the other three regionals will have 14 teams and five individuals not on those teams. The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the finals.

Team and individual medalist titles will be decided May 28-June 2 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. Arizona State and The Thunderbirds are the hosts for the 2021 championships.

Since adjusting to a team match-play format in 2009, the Pac-12 has had a national-best 22 team match-play participants. Additionally, the Conference has produced a title match participant in four of the last five events, including a pair of national champions (Oregon 2016, Stanford 2019).
