Pac-12 statement on passing of longtime women’s basketball coach June Daugherty
The Pac-12 released the following statement on August 4, 2021 on the passing of longtime women’s basketball coach June Daugherty:
"June Daugherty was a shining light in the Pac-12 for more than two decades and had an incredibly deep and meaningful impact on student-athletes at Washington State, Washington and Stanford. Immensely positive and always kind, she brought a great deal of joy to all those whose lives she touched. The Pac-12 joins all those who loved and adored June in mourning her passing and we share our deepest condolences with Mike, Doc, Breanne and her entire family. She will be deeply missed."
