Pac-12 Fan Concourse, partner initiatives & activations take center stage at 2023 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament, presented by New York Life

LAS VEGAS – The 2023 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament, presented by New York Life, tips off on Wednesday, March 5 from Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas and features a diverse assortment of partner activations for fans to enjoy on the Pac-12 Fan Concourse and from their seats, as well as presence from Pac-12 ImPACT and Pac-12 Team Green, the social outreach and sustainability arms of the Conference, respectively.

Pac-12 Fan Concourse

  • Pac-12 Fan Concourse – The concourse of Michelob ULTRA Arena will be filled with fun activations for fans to enjoy throughout the week. 
    • Pac-12 Partners – Fans visiting the Pac-12 Fan Concourse will be invited to interact with several on-site activations from Pac-12 partners, including Clean Simple Eats and the presenting sponsor of the tournament, New York Life.
    • The Trophy – Fans will have the chance to take a photo with the Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament trophy on Thursday, March 2 and Sunday, March 5. 
      • Photo Opportunities – Additional photo opportunities will be available throughout the tournament on the concourse, including a 360° camera station available on championship game day, Sunday, March 5.
    • Tattoo / Sign Stations – Fans can top by and get a temporary tattoo of their favorite Pac-12 team, as well as make a sign to hold in the stands during games. 
    • Hair Braiding / Face Painting Stations – Hair braiding and face painting stations are available on Friday, March 3 and Sunday, March 5.
    • Hydration Station – Fans can purchase a reusable water bottle from the Pac-12 merchandise stand and fill it up at the hydration station.

Pac-12 ImPACt Initiatives

  • Pac-12 ImPACt – The social outreach initiative of the Conference, Pac-12 ImPACt features a collection of activations at the tournament.
    • Women’s History Month – Throughout the tournament, the Pac-12 will recognize prominent alumnae from across the Conference in recognition of Women’s History Month. 
    • Threes for Equality – Pac-12 partner Pacific Premier Bank will host its annual “Threes for Equality” campaign throughout the duration of the tournament. The Official Bank of the Pac-12 will donate $150 for each three-pointer knocked down throughout the tournament to a non-profit focused on social justice initiatives, to be determined by Pac-12 student-athletes. 
    • Snack Packs / Care Packages – In partnership with Sprouts Farmers Market, the Official Grocer of the Pac-12, bands and spirit squads from across the Pac-12 will create snack packs and care packages filled with socks, t-shirts, and toiletries. All items will be donated to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission Shelter. 
    • Community Spotlight – Throughout the tournament, the Pac-12 will highlight community service projects from student-athletes and institutions across the Conference.

Pac-12 Team Green

  • Pac-12 Team Green – The sustainability arm of the Conference, Pac-12 Team Green is set with multiple on-site promotions at the tournament.
    • Fans can win a special bag made of recycled water bottles in exchange for their recyclables, compostables, and landfill items they accumulate during games.
    • There will be a competition to see which fanbase can stay the most hydrated while offsetting the use of single-serve plastic water bottles. Fans can visit the Pac-12 hydration station to purchase a reusable water bottle.
