LAS VEGAS REGIONAL

Stanford and Arizona State waged an epic desert duel in the NCAA's debut in Las Vegas. Both teams shattered the previous NCAA postseason (45-under, Texas, 2016) and Pac-12 all-time (54-under, USC, 2005) scores in relation to par, but it was ASU which pulled away for the record and victory at Bear's Best at 59-under 805, edging the Cardinal by two shots (57-under 807).

ASU opened with an NCAA postseason-record round of 26-under 262, relinquished the lead to Stanford's second-round 22-under 266, then regained the lead with a 21-under 267 in Wednesday's final round to capture its second straight and league-leading ninth NCAA Regional title in program history.

Sun Devils sophomore Preston Summerhays opened with a 10-under 62, the lowest round by a Pac-12 player this season, and closed with a 7-under 65 to finish third at 19-under 197 - tied for the third-lowest total in relation to par in Conference history. Cardinal senior Ethan Ng was close behind in fourth, posting a Stanford record-tying 18-under 198 total.

It marks the 58th all-time NCAA berth for the Sun Devils, matching USC for the most among Conference programs, while it's the 55th appearance for the Cardinal.

NORMAN REGIONAL

Colorado, with a lineup of four sophomores and a freshman, got a huge pair of birdies on the team's final two holes to seal its first bid to the NCAA Championships since 2002. The Buffaloes, seeded ninth in the Norman Regional, are the highest seed and 1-of-2 teams outside Golfweek's top 50 (San Francisco) to advance out of this year's regional sites to nationals.

CU got massive performances out of freshman No. 4 Hunter Swanson (T-11th, -6) and No. 5 Jack Holland (T-15th, -5), both of whom placed in the top 15 along with No. 2 Justin Biwer (T-15th, -5).

BATH REGIONAL

Oregon, which used a second-round 10-under 274 to put itself in qualifying position, got top-20 efforts from four players to secure its 32nd all-time NCAA Championships appearance, including the 11th of head coach Casey Martin's tenure.

Senior Owen Avrit led the Ducks with a tie for fifth at 6-under, his sixth top-5 finish of the season.

The 30 teams advancing to the NCAA Championships will compete in 72 holes of stroke play, crowning an individual national champion at that junction, with the top eight teams advancing to a match-play tournament.

Since adjusting to a team match-play format in 2009, the Pac-12 has had 24 teams advance to match play, second only to the Big 12 (27). Additionally, the Conference has produced a title match participant in five of the last seven events, including a pair of national champions (Oregon 2016, Stanford 2019), and 12 semifinalists.
