Gymnast of the Week: eMjae Frazier, So., California (Erial, N.J.)

  • Earns honor for second straight week after leading No. 3 California (198.100) to a win over No. 4 Utah (197.700) to clinch a share of the Pac-12 Regular Season Title for the third straight year.
  • A week after setting the program record in the all-around (39.825), posted a 39.750 to win the all-around against the Utes and now owns or is tied for the top-three all-around scores in program history. 
  • Added three more event titles, tying for first on bars (9.975) and winning the beam (9.950) and floor (9.975) outright.
  • Added a seventh-place finish on vault (9.850).
  • Third Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week honor of the season and sixth career weekly award overall (Freshman of the Week - Feb. 21, 2023, March 7, 2023; Specialist of the Week - Jan. 31, 2023).

Specialist of the Week: Elena Deets, Sr., Arizona (Maple Grove, Minn.)

  • Helped No. 19 Arizona defeat Washington 196.675 - 196.550 on the road in Seattle this weekend.
  • Had a pair of top-two finishes, taking the beam title and finishing second on floor.
  • Her 9.975 to win beam was a career-high and helped the Wildcats set a program record on the event with a 49.625.
  • Added a 9.875 on floor and a 9.650 on bars.
  • First Wildcat to earn Specialist of the Week honor since Jessie Sisler on Jan. 12, 2015.
  • Second career weekly award (Coaches' Choice - March 1, 2022).

Freshman/Newcomer of the Week: Kyen Mayhew, Fr., California (Mesa, Ariz.)

  • Was key to the big Cal win over Utah at home that saw the Bears post their second straight score of 198-plus. 
  • Recorded her second event win of the season by tying for first on the vault with a 9.900.
  • Delivered a 9.925 on the floor in the final rotation to help solidify the win over the Utes.
  • Had the highest average of scores among all freshmen in the conference this week.
  • First Bear to earn the Freshman/Newcomer of the Week honor this season.

Coaches' Choice: Emma Strom, So., Arizona (Omaha, Neb.)

  • Competed in three events to help Arizona to a road win at Washington over the weekend. 
  • Part of the beam lineup for just the second time this season, posted a 9.925 to help the GymCats break the school record on the event (49.625).
  • Added a 9.825 as the leadoff on floor and a 9.70 on vault.
  • Second Wildcat to earn the Coaches' Choice honor this year, joining teammate Alysen Fears (Jan. 23).
