SEATTLE – The final Pac-12 Men's Tennis Championships return one last time to Ojai, Calif. and Libbey Park this Wednesday through Saturday, Apr. 24-27. The Huskies are looking for a run similar to the one they made to the finals in 2022, as they come in seeded eighth overall and kick things off on Wednesday against Utah.

First serve for UW's opener on Wednesday will be at 12 noon. The winner will move on to the quarterfinals to take on No. 1-seed Stanford on Thursday at 12 noon. The Pac-12 Championships are single elimination.

Only Saturday's championship matches will be broadcast on Pac-12 Network.

Coming in with an 8-14 record and a 2-6 in Pac-12 play, the Huskies know the reality is they will need to win the tournament to qualify for the postseason. But four current Huskies (Cesar Bouchelaghem, Han-Chih Lin, Nedim Suko, Dzianis Zharyn) were on the 2022 squad that reached the final from the No. 8 seed, so the belief is there, and the Huskies played two close matches against top-25 Arizona and Arizona State squads last weekend to end the regular season.

First things first, as the Dawgs will need to get past No. 9-seed Utah for the second time this year. Washington had a 4-0 win over Utah in Salt Lake City on Mar. 29, getting three key tiebreak wins in singles and another to clinch doubles. Zharyn, Suko, and Ivan Sodan were singles winners that day.

Washington's run to the finals in 2022, when it defeated No. 9 Oregon, No. 1 Arizona, and No. 5 UCLA before falling to No. 2 USC in the championship, is UW's best ever run in the team tournament.
