Regular Season Ends in Ojai

OJAI, Calif. – Oregon men's tennis fell to No. 2 seeded Arizona in the semifinals of the Pac-12 Tournament on Friday. The Wildcats entered the match ranked 11th in the ITA team poll.
 
The No. 6 seeded Ducks were fresh off a 4-1 upset over No. 3 seeded UCLA. The Bruins ranked 22 in the ITA poll, the highest ranked opponent Oregon defeated this season.
 
UO took an early lead after narrowly escaping with the doubles point. Avi Shugar and Vlad Breazu won 6-2 on court three and Quinn Vandecasteele and Matt Burton clinched the point with a 7-6(2) win on court one. The 11th ranked Wildcats stormed back in doubles and picked up four consecutive points on four sweeps. Ray Lo and Vlad Breazu were still in play when the match was decided. a
