USC Women’s Basketball Schedules Home-and-Home Series With UConn

May 13, 2024

USC women's basketball has secured a high-level series with UConn for the next two seasons. Following an NCAA Elite Eight meeting in April, the Trojans and Huskies are now set do battle on home turf.
USC will head to Connecticut for a December 21 clash that will be broadcast on FOX. And in 2025-26, Connecticut will head to Los Angeles for a visit to Galen Center.

"We are committed to taking part in some of the most exciting matchups in college basketball," USC head coach Lindsay Gottlieb said. "There's something unique and special about a home-and-home series, as it engages not only the national TV audience, but the fan bases of the respective schools. UConn vs. USC, on each coast over the next two seasons, will challenge our players in a terrific environment. What a great series to be a part of."

USC and UConn have met three times in program history, with the Huskies netting wins in each meeting. The most recent clash came in the 2024 NCAA Elite Eight in Portland, where UConn edged out USC 80-73 to take a ticket to the Final Four. The programs first met in December 2002 in Storrs, Conn., and then the Huskies came out to Los Angeles in December 2003 for a game at the Sports Arena.

USC's upcoming game at UConn will take place either at Harry A. Gamble Pavilion in Storrs or at the XL Center in Hartford, and the tip time will be announced at a later date.
