The No. 23 Washington Huskies (12-6, 3-0 Pac-12) scored three times in the seventh inning – the big blow a two-run Willie MacIver home run – to rally for a 4-1 win and complete a three-game sweep of visiting Utah Sunday at Husky Ballpark.
Noah Bremer pitched seven innings of scoreless relief and Jack Meggs hit a two-run home run in the first inning to lift the Huskies to a 3-1 win over Utah in the first game of a double header at Husky Ballpark on Saturday.
Pac-12 play has arrived and the first weekend of action pits the 2016 champion Utah Utes (9-5) against last year's runner-up, the Washington Huskies (9-6). The host Huskies have yet to drop a series this season and look to continue that trend at Husky Ballpark in their three-game series that starts Friday.
