Huskies Make NCAA Statement By Sweeping Utes

The Huskies entered the weekend knowing that in all likelihood they would need to win their series against the Pac-12's last-place Utah Utes (14-38, 6-21) in order to keep their NCAA post-season hopes alive. Washington clinched the series on Friday and put an exclamation point on the weekend by pounding out a season-high 20 hits and beating Utah, 13-7, to sweep the series.

Huskies’ Two Joes Lift UW To 7-2 Win Over Utes

The Huskies two-headed, Joe-monster struck again on Friday, this time rampaging through Salt Lake City to keep Washington's post-season hopes alive.   Joe DeMers pitched his third complete game of the season and Joe Wainhouse unleashed his seventh home run in eight games as Washington beat Utah, 7-2, at Smith's Ballpark to clinch their fourth-straight Pac-12 series.

Once Offense Gets Rolling, Knowles Takes Over In 6-4 Win Over Utah

Washington (26-22, 16-9 Pac-12) scored three runs in the fifth and added single runs in the next three innings to give starter Lucas Knowles enough support to help the Huskies roll to a 6-4 win over Utah (14-36, 6-19) in the opening game of a crucial Pac-12 series at Smith's Ballpark in Salt Lake City.
