Gabbie Plain Named To NFCA Freshman Of The Year Watch List

Washington's own Gabbie Plain was named to the Schutt Sports/NFCA Division I Freshman of the Year watch list. Plain, who threw the seventh perfect game in Washington history against Utah, leads the Pac-12 in ERA at 0.73 and is one of ten Pac-12 pitchers to record 110 or more strikeouts so far. Plain is one of five freshmen from the Pac-12 to make the 25-player watch list.

Road Showdown With #3 UCLA Next for Top-Ranked Huskies

After finishing up a perfect homestand, the 1 Washington Huskies hit the road to take on the 3 UCLA Bruins this weekend in Los Angeles. Washington will look to extend its 11-game Pac-12 winning streak, the second longest Pac-12 winning streak in program history. Game one of the series will be Friday, April 20 at 5:00 pm. Game two, on Saturday, April 21 at 1:00 pm, will be aired on ESPN2.
