Card On Top

Freshman Andrea Lee picked up where she left off in the fall by firing a 4-under-par 67 on Saturday to secure the first round lead in the 22nd Peg Barnard Invitational at rain-soaked Stanford Golf Course.

Peg's Up

The 22nd Peg Barnard Invitational will be played Saturday and Sunday at Stanford Golf Course. Two teams will compete for the top-ranked Cardinal in the 11-school tournament.

Sage Advice

Many consider golf the hardest sport in the world. To excel at a high level requires a unique combination of mental and physical skill, resilience and amnesia. The ball doesn't move, there are several minutes between shots, no timeouts and no teammates.

Imrie Rejoins Card

Kathryn Imrie, an accomplished teacher and former standout amateur and professional player, has rejoined the Stanford women's golf team as a volunteer assistant coach, it was announced Tuesday.

ANNIKA Invite

The No. 1-ranked Stanford women's golf team has been invited to compete in the prestigious 2017 ANNIKA Intercollegiate Presented by 3M, Sept. 30 through Oct. 3 at Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

New Cardholders

Mariah Stackhouse and Lauren Kim, who helped lead the women's golf program to its first NCAA title in 2015, secured LPGA Tour cards on Sunday.
