Introducing Jessika Cowart

Incoming freshman Jessika Cowart is set to join the Huskies this coming fall season from Redwood City, Calif. where she attended Woodside High School. A member of the US Women's Futsal National Team, she was awarded three stars by Top Drawer Soccer and named to the IMG Academy Top 150. Cowart has played her club soccer for both the Palo Alto Soccer Club and PSV Union FC. We caught up with Cowart this spring to ask her a few questions in order to get to know her a little better.

Get To Know Your Rising Seniors: Dominique Bond-Flasza

This spring, we asked each of our rising senior a few questions in order to get to know them a little better. We spoke with Dominique Bond-Flasza today, who joined the program from Laguna Niguel, Calif. where she attended Aliso Niguel High School. The defender has recorded two goals and five assists during her career, and hit a game-winner at Tennessee this past fall before assisting Pascale Dumesnil on a game-winner over No. 13 Santa Clara in the 87th minute.

Where Are They Now: Kate Deines

Kate Deines was a member of the Huskies from the 2008 to 2011 seasons, and ended her career as one of the top midfielders in program history. Joining the team from Issaquah, Wash., she concluded her time at UW tied for 6th in both goals scored and game-winning goals in a career, and is currently the all-time leader in both games played and games started at 86.

Huskies Fall To Seattle U 1-2

SEATTLE – In their fourth spring match of 2017, the Washington women's soccer team dropped a tight match with Seattle U 1-2 today at Husky Soccer Stadium.

Where Are They Now: Theresa Romagnolo

Graduating from Washington in 2001, Theresa Wagner, now Theresa Romagnolo, was a four-time All-Pac-10 selection during her career on Montlake. The midfielder was instrumental in the Dawgs capturing their first conference title in 2000, and helped Washington reach No. 1 in the national rankings for the first time in program history as well.
