Get To Know: Lisa Jensen

In just her second season with the Huskies, Lisa Jensen has already started 26 games, including 18 of 19 this year.  A defender, Jensen even scored her first goal this game, raising high for a header against Seattle off a corner.  The Seattle-area native has helped the Huskies record ten shutouts this year as well, with Washington allowing just 0.79 goals per game.

Get To Know: Jessica Udovich

After two injury-ravaged seasons, Jessica Udovich started all 20 games for the Huskies in 2017 and was a major part of a record-setting defense.  Udovich played the second-most minutes of any Husky, sitting for just 45 minutes all season.  She was also named the Nike Portland Invitational Defensive MVP and the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 10, earning some recognition for her strong play in central defense.

Huskies Announce Spring Schedule

The Washington Huskies spring schedule was announced today, beginning with a matchup against the National Women's Soccer League's Seattle Reign on March 8 at 6:30 pm.  In all, the Huskies will have six games on their spring schedule.  The Huskies will also head to Japan during the spring season.

Get To Know: Jessika Cowart

Five minutes into her college career, Jessika Cowart had already found her way onto the scoreboard.  The California native scored her first career goal against Michigan State in the second game of the season for the Huskies, helping Washington to a big 4-0 win.  While she did not score again as a freshman, Cowart's role grew from there, playing 20+ minutes against both USC and UCLA.

Get To Know: Sianna Siemonsma

It took just two games for Sianna Siemonsma to find her groove for UW.  The freshman scored in just her second career game, potting a goal against Michigan State.  She put up a brace later in the year against Boise State to help the Huskies win the Nike Portland Invitational.  Siemonsma was named the Offensive MVP of that tournament as well and will head into 2018 as one of Washington's most potent offensive threats.
