UW men's crew will look to continue its dominant run in collegiate rowing as the No. 1 Huskies head to Mercer Lake, N.J., to attempt to win their fifth straight Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Championship, an unprecedented feat. The IRA National Championships will run May 29-31.
The 2015 Windermere Cup will feature a loaded field full of world-class athletes with World Champion New Zealand and Columbia University, one of college rowing's most historic programs, set to face the four-time defending national champion Washington Huskies on Saturday, May 2, on the Montlake Cut.
Washington men's rowing earned a split in four races against No. 1 Cal, winning the varsity four and second varsity eights races, but falling to the Bears in the freshman eight and the varsity eight Saturday, April 25, on the Montlake Cut.
