LOS VERDES, Calif. – The University of Washington women's golf team is in 15th following the first 18 holes at the 2017 Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge on Sunday held at the Palos Verdes Golf Club in California. Washington shot a 22-over 306 to cap off day one in a round that saw only one team shoot under par.
Daytona Beach, Fla. – Former Washington women's golf standout Sadena Parks earned her LPGA Tour card this weekend as she finished tied for third at the third-stage of the LPGA Qualifying School with her 11-under 349. Parks, who played at UW from 2008-12, carded rounds of 69-72-67-68-73 on the par-72 course in Florida.
For the 15th time in the last 16 years, the Pac-12 Conference led all conferences in NCAA Championships won with its institutions capturing 10 during the 2015-16 campaign, marking the eighth time the Conference has claimed double-digit titles, including two of the last three years.
