Despite Losses, @ASUSwimDive Swim Best Meets Of The Season

The Arizona State men (2-3) and women's (0-4) swim and dive teams fell to USC in Los Angeles Friday night, with the men dropping its contest by a score of 165-125, while the women got edged, 169-127. However, the Devils didn't go down without a fight and put together some of their best swims of the season thus far, something the final scores fail to illustrate.

Anna Olasz Wins FINA Open Water 10K World Cup in Hong Kong

Arizona State holds its swimmers to the highest of expectations, and sophomore distance swimmer Anna Olasz exemplifies the Sun Devil way. In the midst of a 20-day hiatus between meets for ASU, Olasz, from Szeged, Hungary, traveled to Hong Kong and captured a victory in the FINA Open Water 10K World Cup Swims.

This year in Pac-12 women's swimming and diving

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – It was yet another stellar year for Pac-12 women’s swimming and diving as three teams finished in the top five at the 2014 NCAA Championships and four total in the top-10, tying the SEC for the highest total of any conference. CALIFORNIA, STANFORD and USC were ranked in the top-10 in the country all year long, with the Bears garnering the No. 1 ranking for much of January and February thanks to standout freshman and Olympic Gold Medalist Missy Franklin. The Cardinal were led by two outstanding seniors in Maya DiRado and Felicia Lee. Lee was named Pac-12 Swimmer of the Month of for November and January while Franklin earned the honors in December and February. The Cardinal finished the regular season undefeated in dual meets, including a win over the Bears in the final meet prior to the Pac-12 Championships, and were the favorites heading into postseason play.

Pac-12 names women's swimming and diving all-academic teams

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Following are the 2014 Pac-12 Conference Women's Swimming and Diving All-Academic teams, announced today by Commissioner Larry Scott. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

Tristin Baxter Records 18th Place in 1650 Free at NCAA Championships

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- The final day of the 2014 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships came to a close Saturday evening from Minnesota Aquatic Center, and for Arizona State this proved to be a final opportunity for one senior to build to her legacy as a Sun Devil. Tristin Baxter, swimming for her last time in a college event, took an 18th place finish in the 1650 free.
