No. 13 USC Closes Regular Season Against Top-25 Foes

No. 13 USC (21-8, 13-5 Pac-12) closes the regular season with a short trip to face No. 24 Oregon (16-10, 9-9) on Wednesday (Nov. 22) and then hosts crosstown rival No. 19 UCLA (17-10, 10-8) at Galen Center for Senior Day festivities on Saturday (Nov. 25). A win in either match will lock up at least a tie for second place in the final conference standings. 

Pac-12 Volleyball Prepares for the Final Week of the Season

The final week of volleyball season is here. While STANFORD has already clinched its 17th all-time Pac-12 crown, teams are still playing to impress the NCAA Division I Volleyball Selection Committee. The NCAA announces the field of 64 on Sunday, Nov. 26 on ESPNU at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET. In the Rankings … Pac-12 Champion Stanford leads the way again in the AVCA Coaches poll this week, coming in at No. 4 and appearing in the top five every week of the season, including topping out at No. 1 on Aug. 28.

Balanced Buffs Avoid Upset, Defeat Arizona State in Five Sets

BOULDER – The Buffaloes narrowly avoided an upset after the Arizona State Sun Devils took Colorado to five sets (28-26, 25-16, 26-24, 25-23, 15-11) at the Coors Events Center on Saturday night to improve the team to 21-8 overall and 11-7 in conference play. Arizona State fell to 10-20 overall (0-18 Pac-12).

No. 14 USC Claims 3-0 Sweep Over California

The 14th-ranked USC women's volleyball team (21-8, 13-5 Pac-12) earned a 3-0 sweep (25-18, 25-14, 25-22) over California (13-15, 4-13) on Friday, Nov. 17, at Haas Pavilion. The Women of Troy hit .366 (47k, 10e, 101att) in the win and had three players in double-digit kills led by senior opposite hitter Brittany Abercrombie who had 13 kills (0e, 23att, .565).  

Buffs Record Fifth Pac-12 Sweep of the Season, Defeat Arizona in Three

BOULDER – The Colorado Buffaloes volleyball team recorded a 3-0 victory (25-20, 25-18, 25-19) at the Coors Events Center on Friday night to snap a two-game losing streak and improve the team to 20-8 overall and 10-7 in conference play. Arizona fell to 14-11 overall (3-10 Pac-12). It also marked the 12th 20-win season in program history and the first since the 2014 season.
