Huskies Complete 4-1 Weekend In Hawaii

The No. 17 Washington softball team wrapped up a 4-1 weekend at the Bank of Hawaii Invitational on Sunday earning an 8-3 win over UTEP to advance into the championship game where the Huskies fell to No. 19 UCF, 4-2 in a game that was cut short due to time constraints with UCF's travel arrangements. The teams mutually agreed prior to the start of the game to a drop time, which ended the game after five full innings of play.

Softball Shuts Out UTEP 9-0, Outlasts Hawaii 6-4

Washington softball tallied two wins on the second day of the Bank of Hawaii Invitational in Honolulu Saturday to earn a No. 1 seed in bracket play tomorrow. The Huskies shut out UTEP, 9-0, before coming out on top in a back-and-forth slugfest with Hawaii, 6-4.

Aguilar, Souza Home Runs Lift Huskies Past No. 19 UCF

Trailing 3-2 in the sixth inning, Ali Aguilar's leadoff home run tied the game and with two outs, Kimberlee Souza hit the second home run of the inning to boost the Huskies to a 4-3 win over UCF Friday afternoon. The No. 17 Huskies (11-2) handed No. 19 UCF (8-1) its first loss of the season in the first game of the Bank of Hawaii Invitational in Honolulu.

Huskies Travel To Hawaii For Bank of Hawaii Invitational

The Washington softball team travels to Honolulu, Hawaii this weekend for the Bank of Hawaii Invitational, hosted by the University of Hawaii. The Huskies open tournament action on Friday, Feb. 20 against Central Florida at 3:30 p.m. (PST). On Saturday, Feb. 21, Washington plays UTEP at 1:30 before facing host Hawai'i at 6 p.m. Washington wraps up the tournament on Sunday with bracket play.

Washington Softball Moves to 10-2 In Doubleheader Sweep

Led by 4-hit performances by senior Kylee Lahners and sophomore Ali Aguilar, Washington improved to 10-2 on the season, earning a pair of wins over Grand Canyon Monday in Phoenix, Ariz. A total of 11 different players recorded hits for the Huskies on the day, with six players finishing with multiple hits.
