Huskies Claim Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational Crown: Takada Ties for Second

PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico – The University of Washington women's golf team claimed the team title at the inaugural Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational as it placed three in the top 10 and all four scores counted were in the top 25. Washington finished with a 9-over 873 (295-298-280) with its best round coming on Tuesday. It is the first tournament title this spring for the Dawgs.

Miyamoto Tied for Second at Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational

PUERTO VALLERTA, Mexico – The University of Washington women's golf team currently sits in third place following the second round of the Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational Monday afternoon at the El Tigre Golf and Country Club in Puerto Vallarta. The Dawgs shot a 10-over 298 on Monday to move their two-day total to 17-over 593.

Huskies Finish 10th at LSU Tiger Classic

BATON ROUGE, La.  – The University of Washington women's golf team posted a 10th-place showing at the LSU Tiger Classic, finishing with a 39-over 903 (293-306-304) and placing two in the top 35. The Dawgs were led by sophomore Julianne Alvarez who carded a 4-over 220 to finish tied for 16th.

Dawgs in Seventh After 36 Holes at LSU Classic: Alvarez Tied for Second

BATON ROGUE, La. – Following 36 holes at the LSU Tiger Classic, the University of Washington Women's Golf team sits in seventh place with an 18-over 599 (293-306). Sophomore Julianne Alvarez is leading the Dawgs as she is tied for second at 4-under 140 (70-70). The 56-hole tournament will take a break due to impending weather on Saturday and resume with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Sunday, March 26 at the University Club Course on the campus of Louisiana State.
