Another remarkable year for Pac-12 men's swimming and diving

Pac-12 men’s swimming & diving teams had another dominant year in the pool, setting multiple new records while adding to the trophy case with national individual titles. Four teams earned top-16 finishes at the 2016 NCAA Championships with CALIFORNIA who led the way in second place and earned a top-two finish for the seventh-straight year. Pac-12 swimmers and divers collected 46 (17 first-team honorees, 29 second-team honorees). For the sixth-straight year, the CSCAA Division I Men's Swimmer of the Year belongs to a Pac-12 student-athlete.

All-Academic teams announced

Following are the 2016 Pac-12 Conference Swimming & Diving All-Academic teams, announced today by Commissioner Larry Scott. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and participate in at least half of their team’s scheduled regular season events.

Men Wrap Up NCAA Championships With Exciting Future Ahead

As the final event came to a close on Saturday evening at the McAuley Aquatic Center on the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology, the Arizona State men's swim and dive squad realized they had accomplished their goal of swimming -- and diving -- like they never had before.

Pac-12 Men's Swimming and Dive performs well at NCAA Championships

Pac-12 men’s swimming and diving teams wrapped up competition at the 2016 NCAA Championships, held at the McAuley Aquatic Center hosted by Georgia Tech. CALIFORNIA (351) earned a runner-up finish while USC (117) took 13th place, STANFORD (112.5) finished in 14th and ARIZONA (87) ended up in 16th place overall. UTAH finished with nine points in a tie for 35th place and ARIZONA STATE tied for 44th place with 2 points.
