14 Pac-12 singles, 10 pairs headed to NCAA Championships

The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Tennis Subcommittees selected the 64 singles players and 32 doubles teams that will compete in the 2016 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championships. The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 25-30 at the Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla., following the conclusion of the team championship, which runs from May 19-24. The University of Tulsa will serve as host.

All-Pac-12 women's tennis teams announced

The Pac-12 Conference announced today the women’s tennis All-Pac-12 honors for the 2016 season, as determined by a polling of the Conference coaches. CALIFORNIA’s Maegan Manasse was voted Pac-12 Singles Player of the Year, while her teammate Olivia Hauger was tabbed Pac-12 Freshman/Newcomer of the Year. Manasse and her teammate Denise Starr were named Pac-12 Doubles Team of the Year. For the second time in her career, ARIZONA STATE head coach Sheila McInerney was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year. The All-Pac-12 teams were also announced.

UCLA men sweep tennis titles

For the third time in the last five years, UCLA has claimed the Pac-12 Men's Tennis Tournament Championship and it is the second time (2013) they have swept the regular season and tournament titles. On the women's side, the matchups have been decided for the singles and doubles finals on Sunday.
