UW men's crew put the finishing touches on a strong fall rowing season with dominant performances in the eights, fours and double sculls at the Head of the Lake on Saturday, Nov. 8 on the Montlake Cut.
The National Champion UW men's crew will finish up fall competition on Nov. 8 on its home course, as the Huskies will participate in the Head of the Lake. The three mile course starts in Lake Union, crosses Portage Bay, runs through the Montlake Cut and finishes in Lake Washington. Racing begins at 8 a.m. PT.
Washington men's rowing concluded its first regatta of the 2015-16 season, as the varsity eight took fourth in the men's championship eights and the varsity four took seventh in the men's championship fours on the second and final day of the Head of the Charles.
UW men's crew will celebrate its 2015 IRA National Championship at the Husky football game against Cal on Sep. 26, as members of the Washington men's rowing team will receive their championships rings at a pregame tailgate party at Conibear Shellhouse and the Huskies will be honored during the first half of the football game.
