Five Conference teams to compete at NCAA Rowing Championships

SAN FRANCISCO — The NCAA announced the field for the 2016 NCAA Division I Rowing Championships today, and five Pac-12 squads were selected, more than any other Conference. The Championships will be hosted by the Pac-12 Conference, May 27-29 at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center on Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif.

Alecxih, Chase named Men's and Women's Rowing Scholar-Athletes of the Year

GOLD RIVER, Calif. – STANFORD senior Landon Alecxih and CALIFORNIA’s Kendall Chase has been named the 2016 Pac-12 Men’s and Women’s Rowing Scholar-Athletes of the Year, announced by the Pac-12 Conference. These awards have been established to honor collegiate student-athletes that are standouts both academically and in their sports discipline.
