Women's Golf Places Line-Up on Pac-12 All-Academic Team

For the second-straight season, the Arizona State women's golf team places its entire line-up on the Pac-12 All-Academic team, the conference announced Thursday. Women's Golf Takes Fifth in the Nation at NCAA Championships

For the sixth time in head coach Melissa Luellen's 12-year career, the Arizona State women's golf team recorded a top-five finish at the NCAA Championships. The Sun Devils shot a four-day total of 30-over 1150 (293-287-291-279) to finish fifth in the nation, seven shots ahead of sixth-place Mississippi State and eight shots ahead of seventh-place Arizona.

The fifth-ranked Arizona State women's golf team heads into the final round of the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships tied for sixth with NC State and in-state rival Arizona. Through 54 holes, the Sun Devils have a 31-over 871 (293-287-291) at the par-70, 6,194-yard Tulsa Country Club in Tulsa, Okla.

Senior Justine Lee carded four birdies en route to a 2-under 68 on Wednesday, putting the fifth-ranked Arizona State women's golf team in third place after the second round of the NCAA Championships. The Sun Devils are five shots off of tournament leader Oklahoma and have a two-round total of 20-over 580 (293-287) at the par-70, 6,194-yard Tulsa Country Club in Tulsa, Okla.

This year in Pac-12 women's golf

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. —  The Pac-12 boasts a collection of talented women’s golf programs that have proven to be some of the best in the country as they compete for NCAA National Championships year in and year out. In 2014, nine of 11 Conference teams were selected to compete in the NCAA regionals, with four of those finishing amongst the top seven in the nation overall.
