Dodson and Jendrian Earn CU Athlete of the Week Honors

BOULDER-- Sophomore sprinter Jeremy Dodson (Indoor Track) and sophomore Franziska Jendrian (tennis) were named University of Colorado Athletes of the Week for the week of January 21-27. This is the first CU athlete of the week honor of the year for Jendrian and the second consecutive week Dodson has earned the award, making it his second career honor and Jendrian's third.   

Campbell and Milewski Earn CU Athlete of the Week Honors

BOULDER-- Track standout, Ryan Campbell (junior) and tennis standout Monica Milewski (sophomore), were named University of Colorado Athletes of the Week for the week of February 26-March 4. This is the first CU athlete of the week award of the year for both athletes, and the second of Milewski's career.   

Hazen and Milewski Named CU Athlete of the Week

BOULDER-- Track thrower, Zach Hazen (senior), and tennis standout Monica Milewski (sophomore) were named University of Colorado Athletes of the Week for the week of March 12-18. This is the second CU athlete of the week award of the year for both athletes, and both now have three career honors. Milewski is now tied for second on the tennis all-time winner list, with current teammate and doubles partner Franziska Jendrian.   

Warfield-Ruffatto Named Big 12 Outdoor T&F Athlete Of the Week

DALLAS-- Hannah Warfield-Ruffatto, a senior javelin thrower at the University of Colorado, was named the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Female Athlete of the Week, announced by the conference office. Warfield-Ruffatto shares the honor with Ashley Brown, a junior hurdler from Kansas. This is the first Big 12 Athlete of the Week honor for Warfield-Ruffatto.

Nelson and Barringer Race to CU Athlete of the Week Honors

BOULDER-- Track standouts, senior Billy Nelson and sophomore Jenny Barringer, were named University of Colorado Athletes of the Week for the week of April 9-15. This is the first CU athlete of the week award of the year for Nelson and the sixth for Barringer, good for the single most in a single academic year. Nelson has two career honors, while Barringer now has seven career honors, giving her sole-possession of the second most in cross country/track and field history.
