Buffs Concede Twice Early In 2-0 Loss At No. 6 USC

LOS ANGELES – Colorado surrendered two early goals and suffered a 2-0 defeat on the road at No. 6 Southern California on Friday night at McAlister Field. The loss dropped to CU to 7-5-3 overall and 1-4-1 in the Pac-12, while the Women of Troy improved to 11-1-1 and 5-0-1 with their fifth straight win.

CU Travels To No. 6 USC On Friday

BOULDER - Colorado's women's soccer team will face its third top-10 opponent in a span of three week on Friday when the Buffs (7-4-3, 1-3-1 Pac-12) travel to No. 6 Southern California. That match kicks off at 5 p.m. MT and will be televised on Pac-12 Network and Pac-12 Mountain.

Buffs Earn Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Colorado's soccer team earned United Soccer Coaches Team Academic honors for the sixth consecutive season under sixth-year head coach Danny Sanchez. To qualify, a team must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

No. 2 Stanford Too Much For Buffs

BOULDER – Colorado suffered its second consecutive loss on Sunday, falling 3-0 to No. 2 Stanford at Prentup Field. The Buffs slipped to 7-4-3 overall and 1-3-1 in the Pac-12, while the Cardinal improved to 12-1-0 and 5-0-0.

Barton Going Strong In First Season In Boulder

BOULDER – Colorado sophomore Tatum Barton is enjoying her first season in Boulder as she has helped the Buffs to a 7-2-3 record so far. She currently has four goals and two assists and has started six of the past seven matches.
