The Utah men's golf team sits in fifth place following the first round at the Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational. The second round of action began late Monday afternoon and due to darkness, second-round play was suspended and will pick back up Tuesday morning at the Pete Dye Golf Club.
The Utah men's golf team will wrap-up its fall portion of the 2017-18 schedule this week, competing at The Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational, which will be held at Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, W. Va. The tournament will take place this Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 9-10.
The Utah men's golf team currently sits in a tie for first place following two rounds of play on Monday at the Nick Watney Invitational in Fresno, Calif. Utah recorded a two-round score of 8-over par (576) at the Sunnyside Country Club.
For the first time in more than 25 years, the Utah men's golf team took home both individual and team titles at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational, at Colorado National Golf Club. Junior Kyler Dunkle earned the program's first regular-season individual title since 2006, while guiding the Utes to the program's first team title since 2009.
