PRINCEVILLE, Kaua'i — The University of Colorado men's golf team turned in its best round of the fall season and the Buffaloes finished in a tie for 10th in the Hawaii Warrior Princeville Makai Intercollegiate, CU's final competition of the fall season.
No. 40 Louisville led from wire-to-wire and was on fire all three days, winning with an astounding 56-under par 808 team score. The Cardinal utilized nine rounds in the 60s, two others under par and an even-par tally as none of their scorers turned in a round over par in the three days here. No. 50 San Diego State zoomed into second place after turning the top final round score (19-under 269), but were still nine back of Louisville at 817. No. 36 Missouri (824), No. 20 UCLA (827) and No. 5 Wake Forest (831) rounded out the top five.
