Head of the Charles

Stanford men's rowing will open the fall season this weekend at the 53rd annual Head of the Charles on the Charles River in Boston. 

2017 Season In Review

Stanford placed 16 th at the Intercollegiate Rowing Championships to conclude a year that saw Brendan Larkin named the Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Brennan Wertz named the Pac-12 Newcomer of the Year in 2017. 

Pac-12 All-Academic

Headlined by the Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Brendan Larkin (electrical engineering), 18 Stanford men's rowers were named to the conference's all-academic team.

Pac-12 Newcomer of the Year

Sophomore Brennan Wertz was named the Pac-12 Conference Men's Rowing Newcomer of the Year, as the conference announced its postseason honors Wednesday.

IRA Finale

The Stanford men's rowing varsity eight placed second in its final to highlight the Cardinal's final day of racing at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships Sunday at Lake Natoma.

IRA Finals Set

Each of the three Stanford men's rowing entries placed in the top three of its semifinal heat Saturday to advance to Sunday's third level final at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships.
